How to play

Give the table a clear rhythm.

Use this as a quick first-game guide, then keep the official rules close for edge cases and exact details.

  1. Choose the menu

Select one card type from each menu category, place the matching tiles on the board and build the deck for your player count.

  2. Pick one card

Every player chooses one card from their hand and places it face down. Reveal all choices together.

  3. Pass the hand

Pass every remaining hand in the same direction, then choose and reveal again. Some cards may change how later picks work.

  4. Score the round

When every card has been played, score the dishes according to the selected menu. Keep dessert cards for final scoring.

  5. Complete three rounds

Deal again and reverse the passing direction as instructed. After round three, add dessert points; the highest total wins.

Before the first turn

Set up for a smooth start.

  • Choose a recommended menu for the first game.
  • Set the menu tiles and scoring pawns on the board.
  • Build and shuffle the correct deck for the player count.
  • Explain every selected card type before dealing.

Make it a season

Serve a season in short courses.

Record final scores and placements after every lunch match. Rotate the menu periodically while the standings continue across the office.
