How to play
Give the table a clear rhythm.
Use this as a quick first-game guide, then keep the official rules close for edge cases and exact details.
Prepare the first age
Give each player a Wonder board, starting coins and a hand of Age I cards. Keep your hand private.
Choose one card
Everyone selects at the same time. Build the card, use it to construct a Wonder stage or discard it for coins.
Pass the hand
Reveal choices together, resolve costs and effects, then pass the remaining hand in the direction shown for that age.
Resolve conflict
After six cards have been played, compare military strength with both neighbours and take the appropriate conflict tokens.
Complete three ages
Repeat with Age II and Age III. Then total military, coins, Wonder stages and every scoring card category.
Before the first turn
Set up for a smooth start.
- Give each player a Wonder board and matching starting resource.
- Prepare the Age decks for the exact player count.
- Place coins, military tokens and score pad within reach.
- Confirm the passing direction for all three ages.
Make it a season
Make every civilisation part of the record.
Save the total score and placement after every game. Rotate Wonders between rounds so the season rewards adaptable players rather than one favourite board.
