Poker game guide
Dealer's Choice
The dealer names the game and the table has to adapt. A good rotation rewards broad poker knowledge while giving every player a chance to shape the night.

How to play
A clear rhythm for every hand.
Agree the stakes and house rules before the first deal. Once play begins, these are the moments everyone needs to follow.
Agree the menu
Choose the allowed poker variants before play. Keep the first rotation familiar—Hold’em, Omaha and Five-Card Draw are enough.
Set one stake structure
Agree the ante, blinds and betting limits that apply throughout the night so a surprise choice cannot change the risk.
Let the dealer call
Before dealing, the current dealer names the variant and explains every special rule clearly.
Play the deal
Complete the chosen game under its normal rules. The dealer resolves any ambiguity fairly once meaningful action has begun.
Pass the choice
Move the deal clockwise after the hand or agreed orbit. The next dealer chooses the next game.
Before the first hand
Set the table once.
- Use a standard 52-card deck; a second deck with a different back keeps the game moving.
- Write the approved variants on one visible menu and remove any game the group cannot explain confidently.
- Decide whether each choice lasts one hand or one full orbit and keep that rhythm all night.
- Use the same buy-in and betting limits across every variant.
Make it a season
One table, many tests of skill.
Finish the session at an agreed time and rank players by chip stack. SitomoPlay turns that order into season points, so adaptable play matters across several mixed-game nights.
